Meet Victoria

Victoria’s therapeutic work focuses on addressing trauma, depression, anxiety and other issues by taking a collaborative and integrative approach to mental health and wellness. While working with Victoria you can expect a warm and compassionate space to explore your future goals and current barriers to progress. She has experience working with a wide range of clients and approaches healing in a holistic way that honors the uniqueness of each individual. Victoria enjoys combining therapies such as EMDR, Emotion-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral with mindfulness and yoga to help clients increase their mind/body connection and improve their mental health and wellness. Her favorite part of working as a therapist is empowering people to become their own healers by equipping them with the tools necessary to achieve and maintain their mental health goals. Her favorite part of working as a yoga instructor is holding space for people to connect with their physical, mental, emotional, and energetic bodies through movement, breath-work, and meditation.

Her credentials:

Victoria holds a License in Professional Counseling (LPC) in the state of PA. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a registered and certified yoga teacher (RYT). Victoria graduated from West Chester University with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a minor in contemplative studies. She later completed a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at WCU, where her primary research focused on trauma, holistic healing, and the intersection of yoga and mental health. In her current work, she continues to practice and train in holistic modalities, such as EMDR therapy and the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method, to be able to support her clients with evidence-based and person-centered therapeutic techniques.

On a personal note:

Being Pennsylvania born and raised her self, Victoria thoroughly enjoys soaking up all four seasons. She likes to practice seasonal living and Ayurveda, enjoying both the warmth of the beach in the summer and the coziness of hibernation in the winter. She loves animals and you may even catch a glimpse of her mini black rescue poodle in the background of your next virtual session. Yoga and EMDR therapy have been big parts of her healing journey as well and she still enjoys taking gentle relaxing yoga classes for her own wellbeing as much as she loves teaching them and bringing them into therapy sessions. She's a big believer that finding the right fit in a therapist is one of the most important parts of healing and encourages you not to be afraid to reach out with questions. She's always happy to have a conversation and point you in the right direction if there's someone better suited for you out there.

Thanks for sticking around and getting to know me! Hope to connect soon :) - Victoria
